Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Service Center Europe GmbH (CSC) is an aerospace Joint Venture Company between Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) and MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH (MTU) providing overhaul and repair services, customer support and spare engine sales to operators of P&WC products within Europe, Africa and the Middle East. For our location in Ludwigsfelde (near Berlin) we are looking for:

Accountant (all genders)

Your tasks:

• Performing day-to-day accounting tasks:
• Invoice processing
• Payment allocation
• Posting bank entries
• Accrual management
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
• Travel expense management
• Provide support to the internal SAP Team in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax, banking & payments, payment blocks, and other services
• Support controlling with analysis
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end processes
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations

Your profile

• Commercial apprenticeship or degree in business administration
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles, including the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Understanding of commercial processes (order to invoice, procurement, inventory management)
• Excellent command of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience in working with SAP, knowledge of SAP S4 Hana Public Cloud is a plus
• Ability to define, analyze and resolve problems related to system issues
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives and process automation
• Strong organizational skills handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work requirements
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Very good command of both English and German required
